There are a ton of resources that can help you to get more out of Skype once you have made these very first steps.
First off, that Skype Essentials page contains a series of short videos that will show you how to do the most important things on Skype.
Secondly, the Skype Help site has a huge collection of articles to help you learn to use Skype or to lend some support if something goes wrong. You can use the search bar on the site to find what you need, but I recommend starting with this guide to the Skype interface.
Thirdly, if you want to ask a question, you have to join the Skype Community. Over two million users have registered there to ask questions and share their experience, so chances are you will find someone who can help.
