★ Open Windows Explorer.
★ Minimize the Windows Explorer window.
★ Locate in Windows Explorer the item to which you want to create a shortcut.
★ Hold down the right mouse button and drag the item onto the desktop.
★ Release the right mouse button. A context menu will appear.
★ Click Create Shortcuts Here.
