If the person is being verbally abusive, you can try to calm them down and diffuse the situation by talking to them in a calm and respectful manner. If the person is becoming physically aggressive, you may need to call for security or law enforcement assistance to help control the situation. In some cases, it may be necessary to escort the person off of the premises.
