Suppose if a patient or visitor asked you a question about a specific staff member, how would you respond to maintain confidentiality?

I would first explain that I am not allowed to discuss any information about other hospital staff members. If they asked why, I would tell them it is because we are required by law to protect their privacy. I would then redirect the conversation to something else.
