For those adept in music, being a songwriter can definitely help pay the bills. You do not even need to know the technical side of music, as a lot of musicians are known to play things by ear. Some do not even know how to read a musical note. But for those who are really good, a little inspiration is all that is needed to complete and finalize a song. Music artists can then use this for commercial release. If it proves to be popular, you can expect to earn royalties for several years.
