Writers perform this function primarily on websites, community forums and blogs. Writers fall into two main categories-writers (authors) and technical writers. Most writers and editors have at least a basic familiarity with technology, such as personal computers and the Internet. Writing professionals are sometimes referred to as Copywriter, Content Manager, Editor, Blogger, Reporter, Columnist, and News Writer or Journalist.
