How do I move or copy a footnote or an endnote?

To move or copy a note, you work with the note reference mark, not the text in the note pane:

1. Select the reference mark of the note you want to move or copy.
2. Cut or copy the note reference mark.
3. Place the cursor at the new location and paste.

You can also "drag and drop" note reference marks.
