Is Freon an element and if not what is it?
Submitted by: AdministratorIf a substance does not appear in the Periodic Table, it is not an element, but rather a compound of other elements. Some elements have more than one name, especially radioactive ones. While the names for an element may vary in different languages, it will always have the same Symbol. (see related link for the Periodic Table)
