Biology Interview Question:
What happens when the cell membrane or plasma membrane ruptures or breaks down?
Submitted by: AdministratorWhen cell membrane ruptures Ions leek out and unless repaired in time the cell will die. As we know that the plasma membrane is not stationary, and it is made of lipids and protein, so when damage happens the cell repairs itself by producing new part like the damaged one that is why it is dynamic.
