Nursing Interview Question:
Explain me in detail how you would appropriately transfer a resident from a bed to a wheel chair?
Submitted by: MuhammadYou would introduce yourself and make sure you're with the right patient. You help them over the side of the bed and put a gait belt around their waist. You help them up and, depending on the patient's ability to bear weight, you either pivot them into the chair or have them walk at least ten steps to their chair. Make sure the bed and the wheelchair are locked and that you are right behind and beside them for safety.
