distribution. With high kurtosis, distinct peaks and rapid decline with heavy
tails. Kurtosis for normal distribution is 3. Many statistical tests depend on normality. IF high skewness or kurtosis, then transform the data to make it normal. Eg. Box-Cox transformations.
