Can you please explain the difference between extjs and sencha?

I think extjs is to sencha what windows is to microsoft. Yes, modern browsers on desktop or pads/phones should support extjs framework. However, sencha touch is optimized for the pads/phones.

Sencha Touch is the Touch Enabled version of EXTJS. Both are built on same underlying framework but Sencha Touch is more suited for touch devices and it is lightweight. Although Sencha Touch is still not as stable as EXTJS and lacks some features present in EXTJS.

Actually Extjs is fully based with w3standards and developed from javascript framework.
Mainly difference is Extjs developed and deployed for desktop and laptop web applications with touch inputs.
Sencha touch is develop for mobile web applications and look feeling as a native apps in mobile web browsers.
