What is the relevance of zoo geographical region in relation to taxonomy?
Submitted by: AdministratorThe location of a zoo that an animal is kept in will have nothing at all to do with its taxonomy. Taxonomy is the technical word for its classification, and that stays the same no matter where the animal is moved. Sometimes classification will have to do with its location, but the animal's species does not change because it has been moved.
